1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TerriRun ("the App"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

TerriRun is a sports gamification application that combines real physical activity (running and walking) with territorial conquest mechanics.

2. Game Rules

Valid Activities

• Activities must be performed by running or walking, through real physical movement
• Activities faster than 25 km/h are considered to be done in a vehicle and do not count
• You can record up to 50 km per day
• Active GPS signal is required throughout the entire activity
• Activities must have a minimum duration and reasonable distance to be valid
• Recorded speed must be consistent with the selected activity type

Territory Conquest

• Map cells are conquered by physically passing through them during an activity
• Points are awarded based on distance traveled, duration, and cells conquered
• Rankings reflect the real performance of users

Clans and Challenges

• Clans are groups of users who collaborate on common challenges
• Challenges have specific rules that must be respected
• Participation in clans is voluntary

3. Prohibited Conduct

Cheating and Manipulation

The following is strictly prohibited:

• Using GPS spoofing or any fake location tools
• Using bots, scripts, or automations to record activities
• Manipulating GPS signals in any way
• Using emulators or virtual devices to simulate movement
• Sharing accounts to accumulate points unfairly

System Abuse

The following is strictly prohibited:

• Recording activities while traveling in a motorized vehicle
• Creating multiple accounts to gain an advantage
• Exploiting system bugs instead of reporting them
• Interfering with TerriRun's service or servers
• Using the App in a way that degrades other users' experience

Content and Behavior

The following is strictly prohibited:

• Using offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate usernames
• Harassing, intimidating, or threatening other users
• Sharing illegal or inappropriate content
• Impersonating other users

4. Consequences of Violations

Failure to comply with these rules may result in:

• Formal warning
• Invalidation of fraudulent activities
• Loss of points and conquered cells
• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent account deletion without prior notice

TerriRun reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate to maintain the integrity of the game.

5. Fair Play

Sportsmanship

• TerriRun promotes healthy physical activity and fair competition
• Respect other users both in-game and in social interactions
• Report any suspicious behavior or cheating through official channels
• Achievements must be earned through real physical effort

Anti-Cheat System

• TerriRun uses automated systems to detect fraudulent activities
• Activities with suspicious patterns may be reviewed and removed
• Moderation team decisions are final

6. Limitation of Liability

Physical Activity

• TerriRun is a gamification tool, NOT a substitute for medical advice
• Consult a healthcare professional before starting any exercise program
• You are solely responsible for your safety during physical activities
• Do not engage in activities in dangerous conditions or unsafe areas
• Always comply with traffic and road safety regulations
• TerriRun is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or health issues arising from use of the App

Service

• TerriRun is provided "as is" without guarantees of continuous availability
• Interruptions may occur due to maintenance or updates
• We do not guarantee absolute GPS accuracy or recorded data accuracy
• We are not responsible for data loss due to technical failures

Device and Data

• Intensive GPS usage may affect your device's battery
• TerriRun is not responsible for the App's mobile data consumption
• It is recommended to use the App with a stable internet connection

7. Intellectual Property

• TerriRun, its logo, design, code, and content are the property of its creators
• Users retain rights over their personal data as per the Privacy Policy
• Copying, modifying, or distributing the App's code or design is not permitted
• Usernames do not grant ownership rights

8. Account Termination

By the User

• You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Data & Privacy
• Deletion is permanent and erases all your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

By TerriRun

• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms
• We may terminate the service with reasonable prior notice
• In cases of serious fraud, deletion may be immediate

9. Modifications

• We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time
• Significant changes will be notified in the App
• Continued use of the App after changes implies acceptance
• You can always view the current version in the App
